If you’ve read my blog much at all, you know that
I love to plan, but I’ve always had trouble finding exactly what I want in a
homeschool lesson planner. There is usually not enough subject spaces, extra
forms or features I don’t need or want, and not very visually appealing. (Is it
wrong that pretty things inspire me?)
I had found features I liked about various
planners, so why couldn’t I have one with each of the elements I liked? I tried
to make my own with my limited computer programs and design knowledge (which
isn’t a lot either!)
Then during the spring my friend, Sam, at
Sam’s Noggin blogged about a personalized planner that her friend Michelle made
for her. Sam’s planner was a basic calendar planner, but seeing what Michelle
could do gave me a brilliant idea.
I WOULD HAVE MICHELLE MAKE ME A CUSTOM HOMESCHOOL
LESSON PLAN BOOK!!!
Without further ado here is my very own custom
planner…
The cover with our homeschool name.
Year at a glance and monthly calendars.
Mission and goals for our homeschool.
Attendance sheet that I color coded with
highlighters.
Lesson plan pages for Chipette and our Together
Time with customized subject squares.
Customized subject squares for Magpie.
Boxes for our Morning Meeting (aka Circle Time), library
needs, and supplies.
In case you hadn’t guessed I LOVE MY PLANNER!
Pretty customized planners from now on in the tree
house,
Chelli
