    Hi Chelli!I am a new homeschool mom and feel that we have a lot in common already. I was wondering though... do you make copies of all your workbooks to use later? I have all new ones and want to re-sell or re-use. HELP! Ellen Tidwell

      Ellen, I will be writing a blog post this Thursday about a cheap way to use and re-use workbooks so you can keep them for the next kid. Be watching for it!

    I love this blog! Honestly, I've always had the idea of homeschooling my kids in the back of my mind. Especially with the way our family business going, I have the time now to really think about how I want to raise my kids, and what I want our life to be about. It's important to me that our family has a good foundation, and that the kids grow up sure of themselves, and have plenty of time out in nature. Thats how I grew up, which may be why I chose to get into a business that allows me to be outside all day. Anyway, I love reading the blog. Thanks for taking the time to put it out there.

    As with any human endeavor, there are disadvantages to homeschooling. These include: Time – homeschooling can absorb a substantial amount of a parent's time. Financial restrictions – In order for one person to remain home as teacher, he or she may have to give up their job effectively reducing the family income.

    Hey Chelli, I tried following the link for "Bible Study Guide for All Ages in Chronological Order and Divided into Three Cycles of Study" but it says it can't be found. Is it gone for good or will you be putting it back up at some point?

    Effects on social life can be another possible disadvantage for homeschooled kids. All kids need to have friends and be around other children. Some homeschoolers may feel cut off from kids their age or feel like they spend too much time with their families. www.treeloppinggoldcoastqld.com/

    Planting trees and gardens at schools helps beautify the community. The newly planted trees will clean the air. They will clean the water runoff from the buildings with their roots. They not only enrich the students and residents' lives, they enrich the earth that they now inhabit. about us
