Thrifty Thursday: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

One thing you learn quickly as a homeschooler is that workbooks can get expensive…quickly, especially if you have more than one child that will be using the same program later. So how can you maximize your dollar and not spend a fortune copying every work book you own?

Page protectors.

Cut off the side that has the holes for a three ring binder.

Now you have a short side that is open and a long side so you can easily slip the page protector over a workbook page or a textbook page.

It’s the perfect writing surface for white board markers or Vis-à-Vis pens.

Best of all it saves your workbook for use with another child or resale.

Minimizing our carbon footprint in the tree house,

Chelli
