I am ...Thank you for your review on Math in Focus! I am trying to decide between Math in Focus and Math Mammoth for first grade. Any thoughts you can share with me? I do like the appealing pages of Math in Focus. Does it seem to cover everything that Math Mammoth does? Clocks, fractions, money, geometry? Do you really think I can do it without the teacher manual (Math in Focus)? That is the really expensive piece, and I would love to not have to buy that. If you get a chance, please email me at clambert11@gmail.com
Thanks! I let my daughter do the worksheets on her own, and they take her probably 10-15 minutes depending on how involved they are. This is at the third grade level.Chellihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14264109854852787464noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3492627641698528246.post-27099727175523812462013-08-18T00:51:39.828-05:002013-08-18T00:51:39.828-05:00how long does a lesson take to teach and complete ...how long does a lesson take to teach and complete each day?caminoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3492627641698528246.post-24362717852796168172013-02-13T16:36:06.356-06:002013-02-13T16:36:06.356-06:00You're welcome! It does tend to go a little fast for him on certain topics, but we just slow down when we hit one of those and spend more time doing it hands-on, then we move on once he "gets it."

Thank you for sharing with the Virtual Curriculum Fair!Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06710205217819146347noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3492627641698528246.post-85764973287395705772013-01-15T22:07:32.368-06:002013-01-15T22:07:32.368-06:00The math journaling is my favorite part.
