Disney World Vacation: Day Two

Today was Magic Kingdom day. We were in the main park for over twelve hours today! Needless to say, this momma is beat! But we all had a really, really good time. Seeing Disney World through Preacher Man and my children’s eyes makes it more enjoyable than when I first went to Disney World when I was 13.

I want to share with you a few highlights of our day.

When we walked in the first character we saw was Marie from The Aristocats.

Next stop was to meet Tinkerbell…

And her sister, Periwinkle!

Chipette had mentioned that she hoped we would see Jessie from Toy Story and guess who showed up when we walked around the corner? They had a quick draw contest for the camera.

Monkey enjoyed the Tiki statues that squirted water. Even if they did get him in the face!

I sacrificed my motion sickness to ride the teacups with the girls, but I kept my eyes covered the entire time. The worker told me that they had to shorten the ride from three minutes to ninety seconds because the parents couldn’t handle it! I’m glad I’m not the only one.

The girls really enjoyed riding Dumbo and even Gran got in on the pachyderm action.

We had time to stop for a spot of tea with Alice, the Mad Hatter, and the March Hare before continuing on with our day.

Next up was Aladdin’s Magic Carpet ride. Gran, Papaw, and Monkey rode together. Monkey loved it!

And Preacher Man and Magpie rode together.

After riding Space Mountain, we exited to find a dance party going on in Tomorrowland. The girls busted out their best dance moves with Goofy, Pluto, and Stitch.

To finish off the night I grabbed a picture of Chipette and Magpie in front of Cinderella’s castle.

Preacher Man was in awe of how awesome that thing was!

Wrapping up our day in the Magic Kingdom with lots of great memories, lots of screams and giggles, and seven exhausted people in the traveling tree house,

Chelli
