Here is what you need to make Whole Wheat Bread:
1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
3 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 cup butter to melt
12 oz. seltzer water
First, mix dry ingredients with seltzer.
Put dough into a greased bread pan. Melt 1/3 of the butter and pour over the dough.
Bake for 30 minutes in a 370 degree oven. Take bread out of oven. Melt 1/3 of the butter and pour over the bread.
Bake for 10 more minutes. Take bread out of oven. Melt the last 1/3 of butter and pour over the bread.
Remove bread from oven and let cool for 10 minutes.
Slice and enjoy!

ReplyDeleteIt is fantastic! We never have leftover for more than a day. When I make it for supper, the kids like to eat the leftovers the next day with jelly on it for breakfast.
